Welcome to the spring issue of the PHE Journal. It's my hope that you will find inspiration from the articles within.

Given this topsy-curvy time of COVID-19 and social-distancing, shifting focus on the bright spots and banding together to help each other maintain body, mind and spirit is more important than ever.

To that end, please be sure to read our President's letter, which clearly outlines some of the virtual initiatives that we highly encourage you to join. I, personally, have been enjoying our steadily growing FaceBook community via the PHE Home Learning Centre Staff Room. In April, we reached out and asked members how they've been keeping in touch with students. Thank you to those who shared your knowledge and wisdom regarding the methods you've tried and found to be effective. It's my hope that more people will weigh in and share resources and tips.

I'd like to also point you to one of our feature articles entitled Circle of Courage. I won't give too much away here, but I will say that it will leave you with a sense of optimism and will get you thinking about life and physical education on the other side of the pandemic. I read it and felt my heart lift. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Stay well and happy.

Best,

Jaishree
