New Teach Resiliency Education Series Coming in June

Teach Resiliency, a mental health program providing practical and evidence-informed resources and tools to support school mental health for both students and teachers, is launching a new webinar series.

The Teach Resiliency Education Series presented by The Co-operators, is a collection of free, informative and interactive professional development presentations led by experts in the field of both children’s and teacher’s mental health. 

First Webinar

Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2019

Time: 4 p.m. Pacific Time; 5 p.m. Mountain Time; 6 p.m. Central Time, 7 p.m. Eastern Time; 8p.m. Atlantic Time, 8:30 p.m. Nefoundland Time

In this first webinar, special guest Dr. Susan Rodger will introduce you to some of the unique, innovative and promising mental health practices having a positive impact on students, school staff, or both. Various components of promising mental health initiatives will also be shared using Share2Care initiatives to guide the discussion.

Participants will be invited to ask questions and share their own successes, challenges and learnings and will come away with enhanced knowledge of how to plan and implement effective mental health initiatives in school communities. 

About Dr. Susan Rodger

Dr. Susan Rodger is a Psychologist and Associate Professor in the Psychology Counselling Graduate Program in the Faculty of Education at Western University and a Research Associate at the Centre for School-Based Mental Health.
