Editor's Letter

Information d'avantage sur la paternité

Welcome to the latest edition of the PHE Journal! As we move through the season and settle into our schools and classrooms, it's my hope that you can find some inspiration and powerful ideas in this issue.

Let me start by pointing you to Daniel Balderson's thoughtful article on orthorexia nervosa. Linked with a number of other extreme health disorders, orthorexia nervosa should be on your radar. Especially so since the cases of eating disorders among Canadians is on the rise.

Our Teacher to Teacher column is short and sweet, but it sure packs a punch! Looking for some essential resources this season? Look no further than Teacher to Teacher. And of course, reach out to us with any suggestions and recommendations of your own.

I'd like to close by suggesting that you keep our letter from the Board close in mind – and perhaps even share it with your colleagues. If you haven't read it yet, I won't spoil it for you. But, I will say that it's filled with exciting news for our growing community.

Best wishes,

Jaishree
